The 2nd edition of the International Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition has close its door. It was organized by Gracom Group under the aegis of the Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment.

The honor guest of this 2nd edition was Africa and has known an attendance of more than 80 exceptional exhibitors (ACWA Power, ENEL Green Power, NAREVA, MANAGEM and RES4MED …) to present their offers and strategies related to Renewable energies, solar energy and also photovoltaic technologies.

The event has counted the participation of some countries from Europe (France, Portugal, Italy, United Kingdom and Germany …), Africa (Mali, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau …), but also Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, through their official delegations.

During these three days, special conferences were organized to discuss issues related to renewable energies in relation with the integration of photovoltaics, energy efficiency, sustainable development and financing of photovoltaic projects. Also, the scientific day of Photovoltaïca 2016 organized as a research seminar supervised by the University, was successful with the presence of researchers and doctoral students.

PHOTOVOLTAÏCA 2016 : 2nd successful edition

This day was chaired by Mr. Lahcen DAOUDI, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Management Training who raised the importance of scientific research in the field of photovoltaics to enable Morocco to position itself as a technological hub at a regional level.

More than 4000 visitors and participants were identified from the first day of the show, which confirmed its status as a reference within sustainable development and renewable energy fileds.

The 3rd edition is already confirmed and announced by Gracom Group, it will take place from Novembre 22th, 2017 to November 24th , 2017 in Marrakech, in addition to the launch of Photovoltaïca Africa planned in Cameroon.
